Hi there! I'm a dedicated and enthusiastic online tutor with a passion for mentoring. I hold a degree in International Relations, Economics, and Peace & Conflict Studies from Colgate University, along with 3 years of experience working with students in this age group. I understand that each student has their own unique learning style and pace, and I work hard to create individualized lesson plans that cater to each student's specific needs. My goal is to not only help my students excel academically, but also to foster a love of learning that will stay with them throughout their lives. Having worked with a multitude of tutors throughout my own education, I found that the most effective relationships are based in active listening and empathy. Learning is a by-product of strong communication and establishing that dynamic first is key.

I encourage students to express their thoughts and ideas through creative writing exercises and engaging discussions. My goal is to provide each student with personalized attention and support, helping them to reach their full potential and develop a lifelong love of learning.
