About Connor
I qualified as a Geography teacher at the age of 25, in the UK, and worked there for 5 years after completing my PGDE, eventually being promoted to Head of Geography. During this time, I taught the AQA GCSE Geography specification. I am currently now working in a British international school in Budapest, Hungary, teaching the Cambridge International IGCSE and A Level Geography syllabuses. I love Geography, and I (strangely) love exams. If you want to work hard, then I would be happy to tutor you in preparation for your final exams!

Having studied both law and geography at undergraduate level, I have excellent subject knowledge in all units of the GCSE and IGCSE Geography courses. Each lesson will begin with a recall exercise covering basic foundational/background knowledge required to understand the topic at hand. Once completed, I will clearly explain the topic taught, whilst interleaving exercises to check and monitor your understanding. Once confident that you understand the topic, we will finish the lesson with a past-paper question. I will explain what the examiners are looking for (I have three years' experience marking for GCSE), and teach you the most efficient way to answer the question. Each lesson will also include a resource made by myself which will summarise the topic at-hand and can be used for future revision purposes.
