About Lionel
I'm French (obviously), married to an English, with bilingual triplets.
Tutoring is an extension of my life and my experience as a traveller, a parent and a teacher in other areas. (I also teach Aikido which is a traditional "martial art").
I have worked in market research as a semiotician and brand consultant for 25 years but I'd like to slow the pace and focus on tutoring and teaching. As one of my friend told me once "I wish I had a teacher like you when I was at school".
As a minimum, my goal is to equip you for your exams and beyond if you fancy so you can enjoy that remarkable, fun and versatile language for work or holidays :)

As experience taught me, efficiency is key for the students. The exams at GCSE and A levels are not hard, they just require a proper preparation.

- listening / speaking in French: creating fluency without judgement (language levels)
- writing: good grammar, useful colloquialisms, richness
- preparation of potential papers
- familiarity with areas of French culture, politics and society at large
