About Sam
My name is Sam, I'm a recent 1st class graduate in Economics at the University of Bristol. I have tutored A-Level students for over 2 years in Economics from the UK and Hong Kong, with previous students having achieved top A* marks. I take pride in doing everything I can to support students in reaching their full potential!
I've studied at a top 20 world university in Hong Kong, advised over 150 students in 1-1 sessions whilst working for the careers service, and interned at a top global investment bank. All this experience allows me to deliver stimulating and well-rounded lessons that will support the student's future aspirations.
Having achieved the highest mark Economic dissertation in my cohort, I specialise in applying theory to real-life economic issues for a more engaging lesson that deepens the student's understanding of the subject.

I offer lessons for A-Level, IB and GCSE students studying Economics. My lessons are typically 1 - 2 hours, either in person or online, but I am very flexible to suit the needs of the student.
As part of my lessons, I provide tailored notes and lectures based on my 4 years of experience at University, with annotated diagrams and worked examples. I also specialise in producing the highest quality essays, as I have received the highest mark in my cohort for multiple essay-based classes.
Additionally, review and provide advice on personal statements and university applications, where I have helped previous students receive offers at top universities such as the London School of Economics.
Finally, I provide early career advice for those interested in Finance, as I have previously interned at an international investment bank and advised over 150 students as part of my University's careers service. This includes assisting in securing crucial early-career internships and work experience.
