About Hazel
My fascination with chemistry began with exploring how molecules interact and reactions transform matter. I earned a B.Sc in Chemistry followed by an M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry, specializing in understanding molecular interactions, reaction mechanisms, and laboratory techniques. Over the past 9 years, I have taught students ranging from beginners to advanced learners, helping them gain both theoretical understanding and practical application skills.
I approach teaching with patience, clarity, and interactive engagement. Lessons incorporate problem-solving, visual aids, experiments, and real-world applications to ensure that students internalize concepts effectively. I encourage curiosity, experimentation, and reflective thinking, guiding learners to develop confidence alongside technical skill.
Outside the classroom, I remain actively engaged in research, laboratory experiments, and scientific exploration, enriching my teaching with real-world insights and practical relevance. Teaching chemistry is deeply rewarding because I see students transform from hesitant learners into confident, competent individuals capable of analyzing and solving complex chemical problems. Supporting their intellectual growth and practical skills remains the most fulfilling aspect of my work.
