About LeeAnna
I want you to know that when you work with me, you are working with someone who is trained, qualified, and fully committed to your success. I am a certified EC–6 teacher with additional certifications in ESL and Special Education, which means I have formal training in how students learn, how to explain concepts clearly, and how to support different learning needs. I take my role seriously and approach tutoring with professionalism, preparation, and respect. Our time together is focused, purposeful, and aligned with what you are expected to learn in school. I understand grade-level standards and how skills build over time, so the support you receive is not random—it is intentional and designed to help you make real progress. You can expect a safe, respectful learning environment where questions are encouraged, mistakes are part of learning, and your effort is valued. I come prepared, I listen carefully, and I adjust my approach to meet your needs. My goal is not just to help you improve academically, but to help you feel confident in your abilities. As your academic counselor, my goal is to support you in understanding your classes, setting goals that make sense for you, and feeling more confident in your abilities. I am a certified EC–6 teacher, ESL certified, and Special Education certified, which means I understand that students learn in different ways and sometimes need things explained differently.
Together, we can work on understanding your schoolwork, improving organization and study skills, setting realistic goals, and finding strategies that match how you learn best. I focus on helping learning feel less stressful and more manageable.
This is a space where you can ask questions, talk honestly, and get support without judgment. Everyone needs help at times, and having someone in your corner can make a big difference.
