About Leah
I am a Biology tutor with over 3 years of experience and an MSc in Immunology. My academic background gave me deep knowledge of cellular biology, but my greatest passion is marine biology and oceanography. I love exploring marine ecosystems, ocean currents, and the impact of human activity on marine life. In my lessons, I bring the ocean to life through documentaries, case studies, and interactive discussions. We study coral reefs, plankton communities, and the fascinating adaptations of deep-sea creatures. I encourage learners to think critically about conservation and sustainability. My goal is to help students understand not just the science but also the responsibility humans have toward nature. I tailor lessons to each student, whether they need structured review for exams or want to explore biology out of curiosity. I believe in making complex systems easier by breaking them into clear, manageable steps. I use visual resources to show how nutrient cycles, currents, and ecosystems connect. Students also learn how climate change and pollution alter marine life. My teaching style combines explanation with discovery. I want learners to feel inspired, not overwhelmed. Biology is not only about memorizing facts, it is about asking why and how. I show students how ocean science links to global issues like climate, food security, and conservation.
